A major focus of my role has been transforming our marketing strategy, processes and delivery pipelines across social media, website and SEO, events, campaigns, content, video, email marketing, brand and stakeholder communications. I have led the implementation of new CRM, email marketing and project management systems, creating more effective ways to manage campaigns, priorities, approvals and workflows while improving how we communicate important information to communities across Tasmania. Alongside these operational improvements, I have introduced mentoring and professional development within the marketing team, strengthening capability and creating a more strategic, efficient and collaborative marketing function.
I also lead the marketing and delivery of major events and campaigns across Tasmania, including establishing The People Project Tasmania’s first presence at AGFEST, alongside conferences, workshops, expos and community events. I have introduced greater use of video and purpose-built digital content to complement event marketing strategies, extending campaigns beyond the event itself and creating content that can engage audiences across social, web and email channels. At the heart of this work is a strong community purpose, helping Tasmanians access important information about primary health, disability and aged care services, healthcare access, workforce initiatives and community innovation.
Our integrated approach has contributed to several sold-out events across Tasmania without paid advertising, an 18,600%+ increase in website visibility and a 6,400% increase in engagement. Our work has also received multiple Business Excellence Award recognitions across Launceston, Devonport and George Town, recognising both the effectiveness of our marketing and the collective work of the team behind it.
